Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RankFix, available at https://rankfix.app ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

RankFix is an SEO monitoring and content optimization tool. It connects to your Google Search Console account, tracks keyword rankings, analyzes your pages, and provides AI-powered content recommendations to help recover and improve Google rankings. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

You may register using an email and password, or by signing in with your Google account via OAuth. By using Google Sign-In, you authorize us to receive your basic profile information (name and email address) from Google as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Google Search Console Integration

The core functionality of RankFix requires connecting your Google Search Console properties. By connecting, you grant RankFix read-only access to your Search Console data (keyword rankings, clicks, impressions, crawl data) solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will disable monitoring features but will not delete your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
  • Connect Search Console properties that you do not own or are not authorized to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Share your account credentials with third parties or resell access to the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or attempt unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Use the Service to generate content that is misleading, deceptive, or violates third-party rights

6. Billing and Payments

All payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

7. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal by contacting us at support@rankfix.app. Refund requests submitted after 14 days will be considered at our discretion. Refunds are processed through Paddle and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. Your data is retained for 30 days after the subscription ends, after which it may be deleted.

9. Intellectual Property

RankFix and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RankFix and its licensors. You retain full ownership of the data you provide and the content of your websites. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI-generated recommendations will achieve any particular ranking outcome. SEO results depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

RankFix is a tool to assist your SEO decisions — not a guarantee of results. We are not responsible for any loss of rankings, traffic, or revenue. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except where applicable consumer protection laws mandate access to court jurisdiction in your country of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
